Privacy Policy
Applies to the Quran Wrist app for Apple Watch and the quranwrist.swift.id website.
In short: Quran Wrist collects no data. The app has no account, server, ads, analytics, or tracking, and it never connects to the internet. Everything you save in the app stays on your Apple Watch.
Who we are
Quran Wrist is developed by Ihwan Dede and published by PT. Pemrogram Kode Indonesia (“we”). Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@ihwan.id.
Data we collect
None. We do not collect, receive, sell, or share personal data through the app. Quran Wrist contains no third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or tracking, and it makes no network requests.
Data stored on your Apple Watch
To work, the app stores the following locally on your Apple Watch:
- Bookmarks: surah number, ayah number, and when the bookmark was made.
- Last reading position: the surah and ayah you last read.
- Settings: your translation choice and Arabic text size.
Reading position and settings are stored by app versions that include those features. This information is never sent to us or anyone else. Like other app data, it may be included in Apple Watch backups that Apple creates and manages through your paired iPhone, according to your settings. We have no access to those backups.
Device permissions
Quran Wrist asks for no permissions. It does not access your location, health data, contacts, microphone, camera, or notifications.
Purchases
Quran Wrist is purchased through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We receive only aggregated sales reports from Apple and never your name, email address, or payment details.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply and follow up on your request, we don’t share it with anyone, and we delete it if you ask.
Children
Quran Wrist is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
Deleting data
Remove individual bookmarks by swiping them left in the Bookmarks list. To delete all app data, delete Quran Wrist from your Apple Watch.
This website
quranwrist.swift.id uses no cookies, analytics, ads, or third-party scripts, and serves all fonts from its own domain. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and keep them secure, under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022), the GDPR, and similar laws where you live, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. The only data we might hold is email correspondence with you; send requests to contact@ihwan.id.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. If the app ever starts handling data differently, we will explain it here before the change takes effect.
